MEET OUR BOARD


Sandy Robertson has been actively involved in pastoral and teaching ministry for more than thirty years. In 1981, God called him out of a successful sales and marketing career into full time ministry. Since 2003, Sandy has been the senior pastor of New Covenant Fellowship, a non-denominational church in Titusville, Florida.

Jennifer Taylor has 25 years experience in healthcare with 23 in healthcare admin from manager to Nurse Executive.has served as the Missions and Outreach Leader for Indian River City United Methodist Church 2002 - 2020. This role oversees hundreds of volunteers in community based as well as on campus roles to serve others. Contacts from her previous work in the local medical center and in community organizations has been an asset to helping serve the community through local projects. Jennifer served as the first female President of one of our community’s three Rotary Clubs. Jennifer has a BS in Nursing and MS in Nursing Administration from The University of Alabama at Birmingham. She and her husband Al have two married sons and 6 grandchildren who live in Poland.

Randy Mortensen is an author, problem solver, and a motivating presenter. He’s a national and international keynote speaker who excels at working with professionals to overcome hurdles. His career has been in finance and energy with evidence of serial entrepreneurship. He departed a role as Vice President of a $55 billion gas and electric utility to pursue “significance” in his life. For the past fifteen years, Randy and his wife have led a faith based non-profit working in Haiti. He also launched the Human Trafficking Coalition in 2009. In addition to serving on boards of directors for both private and publicly traded companies he has also served on numerous church boards and the governing boards of non-profits. During 2015 and 2016, Randy served on the President’s Task Force for the Redevelopment of Puerto Rico – meeting at the White House office building semi-annually.

Tony Brown is best known for his expertise in logistics - he knows how to get people and things from one place to another efficiently. As a Christ follower and global supply chain executive for Under Armour and J.Crew, and similar roles at Gap, Timberland and The Limited, Tony understands the struggles Christian business professionals face – how to live out their faith on the job, how to balance family and work while actively serving in the local church ministry. He has been a coach and mentor to numerous individuals as well as a presenter at conferences on topics ranging from marriage enrichment to implementing new systems in the workplace. He has an MBA from Franklin University and a BA from Wittenberg University. He has been married to his high school sweetheart, Brenda, for over 39 years. They reside in Atlanta close to their children and grandchildren.

Peggy Crooks is a retired banking executive with more than 40 years of banking experience. Throughout her distinguished career, Peggy has held a number of leadership roles in many civic and charitable organizations throughout Brevard County. Peggy has been on the Parrish Medical Center Board of Directors since 2002, currently serving as Treasurer.

Brienne Robertson has a passion is to equip single mothers and their families. Her God-sized vision is focused on the acquisition of the Royal Oak Golf Course where she will restore the property for the community, and transform it into the future home of Royal Oak Ministries. This will be a multi-faceted ministry that will provide jobs, training, and education to single mothers but is open to all individuals. Brienne is an experienced Worship Leader and Educator, with an extensive history of working in churches. Skilled in Strategic Planning, Music Ministry, Finance, Community Outreach, and Public Speaking, Brienne is a strong community and social services professional. She has earned a Doctor of Education (Liberty University), Masters of Education, Bachelor of Religious Education, Bachelor of Finance, and Royal Conservatory of Music (Toronto).
